A Squirrel's Search for Food: A Pictorial Story

An Indian palm squirrel was in search of food. It was tiring. Finally when it climbed to the top of a tree, something caught its eyes. It was ivy gourd. The squirrel descended fast towards the food.
It didn't shout in happiness, "Hip.. Hip..Hooray". Because by nature these squirrels are protective of their food sources and do not tend to share it with other squirrels or lose it to birds. It started eating hurriedly to satisfy its hunger. Then the squirrel stopped eating. Did it hear something? Alert!

(Clockwise above image two snaps) Need to check..so it turned right...clear...started chewing,
(anticlockwise same image below two snaps) Turned left...clear..took a bite.

If you observe the above snap, the squirrel initially dropped some food near its feet. But later the squirrel picked it up and consumed. No food wastage, good.

In the above snap, I guess the squirrel forgot to offer its usual prayer before this particular meal, and remembered it later. Just kidding :-)

Yummy Food! The squirrel ran along happily. The next food search continues... :-)
