Viralimalai is around 25km from Trichy, Tamil Nadu. This place has a Shanmuganathar temple situated on a small hill covered with dense woody orchids. Peacocks were said to be found in large number in these orchids. I visited this place in March of this year to photograph our national bird. I didn't spot any peacocks. All might be on a summer vacation. :-)
Instead of peacocks, I found a honey-bee colony outside the temple. And while descending the steps, happened to see a mother monkey carrying its just born baby, and climbing onto a tree branch, and settled down. I photographed, hope you like it.
